Ego Designs is an Interior Design Studio, formed in 2007, with over 15 years of experience. Founders & Designers Chirag Doshi & Sneha Doshi formed this Design practice with the aim of providing creative & transparent design solutions to each of their projects.

The Studio has now completed more than 200 projects over the years, the main segments being Residential, Office, Corporate, Retail & Hospitality Design. Over the years, several of Ego Designs projects have been featured in leading publications such as Elle Décor, Architect & Interiors India, Inside Outside, Ideal Home & Design, Home Review etc.

Mr. Chirag Doshi
(Principle Designer)

Chirag is a true blue designer, who loves to explore design, food & films. After completing his Bachelor’s in Interior Design in 2004, he pursued his Masters in Design from Monash University, Melbourne.

He has also been teaching at CEPT University as visiting faculty. Among his other responsibilities, Chirag is also currently Hon. Secretary at IIID Ahmedabad, after being in the Institute’s service since many years.

Mr. Sneha Doshi
(Founder Partner)

Sneha is a great people’s person, if there was ever one. Her charming personality wins over the room. Sneha completed her Bachelor’s in Interior Design in 2004, after which she worked for 2 years at Aniruddha Vaidya & Associates as a Sr. Designer.

Sneha has been the President of the Makarios Chapter of BNI Ahmedabad & she is very well connected to the business fraternity of Ahmedabad. She believes in her Studio’s motto of creativity, transparency & trust, just as she applies in her life.

Our Services

Interior Design Consulancy

We are an Interior Design Consultancy & do any type of Interior Design Project of any scale. We do not do Turnkey Projects, meaning, with Material & Labour. We charge a fee for our services on Lumpsum basis after studying Client requirements & scale of the Project.

Materials

We provide Specifications, Selection, Quantification of Materials, but we do not get involved in purchase of Material unless requested. Our Clients have complete freedom to purchase the said Material from best source possible. If required, we connect to our sources to get quotes.

Labour

Similarly, we are not married to any Labour Contractors. If our Clients have good Contractors on hand, we don’t mind working with anybody as far as they do good work. If Client does not have any contacts, we provide Ratelists of our known Contractors for comparision.

Scope of Work

Once we are awarded the Project, our scope of work includes complete Design drawings, working drawings, 3D renders, Material Specs, Site Supervision right till Handover. Clients are requested to provide us a day before moving in, for a Photoshoot for documentation & Social media.

OurDesign process

01. SITE STUDY,REQUIREMENTS & ESTIMATION

Our Team does a thorough study of the Site & takes details & measurements as required. On the other hand, a thorough note & study is done of the requirements given by the Client. A basic Estimate is also prepared to make sure things are planned as per the Client’s budget.

02. LAYOUTS, MOODBOARD & 3D VISUALISATION

Once the study is complete, we start working the Layout & Design scheme simultaneously. Moodboards & Material boards are shared with Client along with primary Furniture Layout to make way for further work like detailed layouts & 3D visualisations. We provide Sketchup+Vray renders in-house & do not charge extra for it.

03. WORKING DRAWINGS & MATERIAL SPECS

While 3D is getting made, we don’t wait to get the Site started & release more technical drawings like Electrical etc. to save time. Meanwhile, other working drawings are made as well as Material specifications/BOQ is made.

04. LIAISON, PROJECT COORDINATION

We take care of coordinating with other Consultants like HVAC, Automation, Lighting etc., if any & handle the Site work accordingly. For large scale projects, we coordinate with PMC for proper Site execution.

05. SITE SUPERVISION & HANDOVER

Making sure that our designs are getting well executed, we do regular Site Supervisions. Every aspect of the Project is taken care of personally by us right till the handover.
